Since 1962 Kook has catered heavily to the racing industry, designing and building championship winning headers for almost all forms of racing. Kook's entered the LS1 scene with a run of headers for F-bodies that, in a very short time, stormed past the competition in both performance and quality. As Kooks made their mark in the F-body world, demand for C5 & C6 headers began to grow and Kooks answered the call by developing their version of C5 & C6 headers and exhaust systems. Kook's took everything they learned about LS1's and applied it into their C6 design. Much like the F-body, Kooks went an extra step and made headers in more than 1 size to accomodate more engine combinations. We believe Kook's headers will take Corvette performance to whole new level. Headers are manufactured using high quality 304 stainless material, 3/8 thick hand ported flanges, ball and socket connections and collectors that incorporate scavenger spikes. Exhaust systems can be purchased with or without Magnaflow stainless cats and all systems can incorporate an X-crossover. Kooks systems require NO welding.
