Your factory unit passes coolant through the throttle body, thus produces less horsepower. Our coolant By-pass (item# 100-216) kit eliminates the passing of the coolant through the throttle body, which keeps incoming air temperature cooler and provides more horsepower.

NOTE: Colder Days produce faster cars.

Install only on a cold engine....
Underneath the throttle body there are 2 coolant lines, one comes from the radiator and the other from the intake manifold. Remove the lines that enter the throttle body and mate them together with the bypass tube.
